Vietnam National Mekong Committee headed by a Minister, is responsible to assist the Prime Minister in directing, managing all corporation activities with the Mekong River Commission and to submit for the Government's consideration all policies on the Mekong corporation with the aim to soundly developing, using and protecting the water and related resources of whole Mekong basin in general and of the Mekong Delta and the Central Highlands in particular.
